TRIBUTE TO A RARE GEM, CONFIDANT AND SOULMATE. Our hearts are heavy with the sudden departure of our beloved Pastor (Dr)Ade Babalola “DE” as fondly called among GOFAMINT brethren in New Town District, Ondo. You were a confidant and soulmate who always share your thoughts and emotions with me especially on how to move the Church of God forward. Your untimely departure came as a rude shock but we take solace in a life well spent in Christ Jesus. Our beloved “DE” you have fought the good fight, finished your race, and now resting in the bosom of the Lord you served faithfully (2 Timothy 4:7) GOFAMINT Irenitemi Assembly will definitely miss you. Till we meet to part no more at the feet of Jesus our Saviour, good night sir. For my family and GOFAMINT Irenitemi Assembly, Ondo.
TRIBUTE TO LATE PST. BABALOLA, ADEBAYO SAMUEL
Pst Ade Babalola came, he saw and he conquered even in death. He was an aggressive prayer generalissimo and an ace soul winner. He was an apostle of peace, a preacher of the undiluted word of God and a God fearing man .
Though we earnestly loved him, the Almighty God loved him best. This sinful earth lost him but his demise was a colossal gain to heaven ; full of eternal life. May the good Lord grant the widow, the children, the extended family, GOFAMINT CHURCH and the church universal the fortitude to bear this colossal and irreparable loss in Jesus name. Amen.
Adieu ! Pst Ade Babalola. Sleep on till meet at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ on the resurrection day.
PST & MRS AWONIYI FOLUSO ILEMOBAYO & FAMILY,

TRIBUTE TO A FATHER, MENTOR, SHEPHERD, AND A TEACHER.
With deep sorrow but gratitude to God for a life well spent. Your life is a reflection of true love, commitment, dedication and humility. Being my first Pastor after rebirth, you really thought how to pray-through, your impact in my spiritual, physical and academics can never be forgotten. Dad, I will always thank God for knowing you and you being my shepherd. My prayer is that we shall meet to part no more. ADIUE PASTOR SAMUEL ADEBAYO BABALOLA.
BURIAL TRIBUTE TO PASTOR ADE BABALOLA
Today, we gather with heavy hearts but grateful spirits to celebrate the life and legacy of a true servant of God — Pastor Ade Babalola. A man whose life was a living sermon, whose actions preached louder than words, and whose love reflected the very heart of Christ.
Pastor Ade was more than a preacher; he was a shepherd, a father, a mentor, and a friend. He walked with humility, led with wisdom, and served with unwavering faith. His commitment to God’s work was not driven by recognition, but by genuine love for souls and obedience to divine calling.
He carried burdens for others, prayed tirelessly for the broken, and stood firmly for truth, even when it was difficult. His counsel brought peace, his prayers brought healing, and his words brought hope. Many lives were redirected, restored, and renewed through his ministry.
Though we mourn his passing, we do not mourn without hope. We rejoice because we know he has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. He has transitioned from labour to rest, from service to reward, from earthly ministry to eternal glory.
Pastor Ade Babalola’s legacy will not be buried with him — it lives on in the lives he touched, the faith he strengthened, and the love he sowed. His memory will remain a guiding light to generations yet unborn.
Rest in perfect peace, servant of the Most High.
Your labour was not in vain.
Your crown is sure.
Your reward is eternal.
And your legacy will live forever.
Sleep on, Pastor.
Heaven has gained a faithful soldier. 🕊️🙏
On February 3, the heavens gained what I lost: the presence of a truly great man.
Dad, you were more than a father; you were my primary teacher in the school of life.
To the world, you were Pastor Samuel Adebayo Babalola, a man of God and a pillar of faith. But to me, you are my “Dad”—the first hero I ever knew.
You didn’t just teach me how to walk; you taught me how to stand upright in the face of life’s storms. I watched your dedication and zeal for kingdom business, how you pour yourself out for your congregation, yet you always had enough left in the vessel for us at home.
You taught me that leadership isn’t about being served, but about being the first to serve others.
You lived a life of sacrifice. Nothing was too big for you, no height was too high to climb for you for the sake of God’s work.
Even on your sick bed, you were still thinking about the Sundays you have missed church and hoping you are back on your feet soon to resume church.
I will have no one to call Bro Ade. My PA (Pastor Ade) is gone home to rest. I will greatly miss our occasional banters.
You have finished your race, and as your son, I stand ready to tend to the seeds you planted. Your transition home left a hole in my heart, but your teachings and sacrificial life have given me the tools to fill it with hope.
Rest well, A Dotting Father and Great Soldier of Christ.
